Biltmore Estate Our first experience is a stay at the Biltmore Estate. When George Vanderbilt decided to create a house in the Blue Ridge mountian he comissioned Frederick Law Olmsted who created the Biltmore Estate. For additional information please visit the Biltmore website.

Blue Ridge Parkway next stop:

Blue Ridge Parkway The Blue Ridge Parkway is a National Parkway and All-American Road in the United States, noted for its scenic beauty. The parkway, which is America's longest linear park, runs for 469 miles through 29 Virginia and North Carolina counties, linking Shenandoah National Park to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Linville Caverns final stop:

Linville Caverns Linville Caverns are privately owned active limestone caverns located in northern McDowell County, North Carolina, just south of the village of Linville Falls, on U.S. Highway 221. The caverns are open to the public year-round for guided tours.
